she is an interesting character. hard as nails, and yet maintains maternal affection for her 12 cats. yes, she is a cat lady. her hair is greying in parts, but her skin still soft and supple. how? wish i knew; she looks better than me and she's 137! personally, i think she's a mage.

anyway, onto technical details. there are parts of this that im extremely proud of myself for not messing up. this was the first time i used grey to shade instead of a darker shade of the color, and i think i did that pretty well, in parts. particularly the line between face and neck. the grey is supposed to be eyeshadow and provide a sharp contrast from the bright of her eyes to a dull grey, ya know? that didnt work so well, i dont think. but i think the hair turned out pretty well. let me know what you think of it. 8/7/06
